How to Search Effectively on the Internet

Tips:

Google launched a new number range search, allowing users to look for pages that contain numbers within a specified range.
For example:
- To find something in a date range, like a Phil Collins song from the early 80s and can't remember the name: simply type "phil collins 1980..1985" without the quotes.
- To search for businesses along a stretch of road. For example, the Virginia Highland street area of Atlanta is a great street to walk down and get a slice of pizza, buy a candle, or get great gellati. So a search like '100..900 highland' Atlanta is a good way to see some of the stuff in Virginia-Highlands.
- As a way of finding products within a certain price range, as Google uses the dollar signs ($). You could search for: DVD burner $99..150".
