Tiramisu

Ingredients:

    • 6 egg yolks

    • 2 cups sweet Marsala wine

    • 2 cups warm espresso

    • 2 - 7 oz. packages of ladyfingers

    • 1 cup sugar

    • 1½ lbs. Miceli mascarpone cheese

    • 1 cup coffee liqueur

Method:

Whip egg yolks, sugar and wine together until mixture is light and very fluffy. Cut cheese into small pieces and gradually add to the egg mixture beating continuously for about 10 minutes until thick and smooth. In another bowl, mix espresso and coffee liqueur. Dip ladyfingers one at a time into the mixture and line a serving platter with a layer of these. Spoon half of the cheese mixture on top of the ladyfingers and follow with another layer of dipped cookies. Top with remaining cheese mixture. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate curls.
