Samsung fridges are famous for their problems, Especially the French door design, including RF28HMEDBSR.  Samsung may make great TV's but you don't want one of their refrigerators, trust me (and many others on that - see this page about the class-action lawsuits)

However, knowing these simple tricks can help you get a few more years of life out of the fridge:

Samsung Refrigerator Error Codes 1E SE = POWER OUTAGE

A power outage will make your Samsung fridge show the errors 1E and or SE. If this is the case, simply press the

Freezer (top left) and Fridge (top right) buttons at the same time for 10 seconds and it will reset the control panel and clear the error code.

If the ice maker stops making ice

If the ice maker stops making ice, moisture in the air has condensed on the metal part that gets cold in it and built up ice. Unplug or turn off the circuit breaker to the fridge. Pull out the ice maker (If it is stuck, don't force it, just give a gentle rap to loosen the ice maker and then pull it out.  Use a hair dryer on the lowest heat setting to melt of the ice.  Wipe it dry, put the ice maker tray back in and it's good to go again

If the fridge makes noises

Most likely moisture from humid air has frozen on the coils in the fridge and built up until the fan is hitting it. Unplug the fridge (or turn it off at the circuit breaker), use a hair dryer on the lowest heat setting to blow air into one of the 6 openings in the back of the inside of the fridge. It takes about 30 - 45 minutes to melt it off.

Forgetting to fully close the doors and drawers will cause this.

The problem is worse when the humidity in the house is higher, typically in the summers.
